Sarasvati (Sara) Spaur joined the firm as a law clerk in 2019, and became an associate in 2020. During law school, she interned at the N.Y. Attorney General’s Social Justice Division, participated in NYU’s Civil Litigation-Employment Law Clinic, and worked as a law clerk with the Engineers and Scientists of California Local 20 in Oakland, CA through the AFL-CIO’s Law Student Union Summer program. During her undergraduate studies, she interned with the National Federation of Federal Employees in Washington, DC.
Ms. Spaur received her law degree in 2020 from New York University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Production of the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. She received the Thomas Stoddard Award for her work on the Journal, and the Schulte Roth and Zabel Prize, a convocation award for achievement in employment and employee benefits law. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland College Park in 2017.
