Hope Pordy presented to the New York City Low Wage Workers Taskforce on “Protected Concerted Activity – Building Power in the Workplace” (10/28/25) to advise on the latest status of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and provide updates on the type of worker actions that are considered protected and concerted under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces. The discussion focused on some of the most pressing issues of concern to workers today and ones that go beyond wages and benefits such as activism on issues of immigration and discrimination/harassment.
