Partner Adrienne L. Saldaña has a dual role at Spivak Lipton counseling both labor unions and employee benefit funds, acting as a source of strategic advice, deep knowledge, and institutional memory.
For labor unions, Adrienne advises leadership in good governance, guiding them in navigating their relationship both with members and with their parent organization. She handles matters related to the union’s constitution, and helps negotiate and administer agreements. Her years of experience allow her to size up a legal situation, determining likely outcomes and offering realistic options and effective paths to reach an objective.
For benefit funds, Adrienne brings her deep knowledge of the intricacies of various Taft-Hartley multi-employer and union-specific plans across the spectrum of defined benefit plans providing annuity, health, and pension benefits. She is also the intermediary for fund managers and is available to answer questions that trustees may have directed towards them by plan participants.
Adrienne joined Spivak Lipton in 1996 and became a partner in 2005. She values being a part of a well-orchestrated team that has served many of its clients with excellence for 30+ years. Adrienne is adept at keeping her clients well-prepared to handle a constantly changing, complex legal compliance environment.
She is also known for her professionalism, time efficiency, and sense of purpose.
