Ms. Sigelakis joined the firm as an associate in 2005. She received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2002, a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1987, and her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Economics from Drew University in 1984. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sigelakis worked for the United States Department of Labor, where she participated in drafting the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act regulations and administering DOL international and domestic employment and training programs. She also worked for the AFL-CIO’s Asian Institute investigating worker rights abuses in Asia and running programs including worker rights education, legal assistance and schools for child laborers. She was a legal intern at Region 2 of the NLRB and the International Labor Rights Fund. Ms. Sigelakis was born in Brooklyn, New York.
